We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of IT. As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our technology strategy to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and security systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize technology needs, ensuring efficient and effective IT solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to optimise system performance and reliability.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Prepare and manage the IT department budget, controlling costs and maximising value for the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the IT department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an IT department, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and security protocols.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing IT strategies and initiatives.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of IT professionals.
• In-depth understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable as well as ERC20 experience.
