The Chedi Luštica Bay is the first of seven hotels within the beautiful Luštica Bay. Set on the front line of the marina, it provides a unique experience of waterfront living. A luxurious refuge within easy reach of the main marina lends to the town’s superb dining experiences, lounges, conference facilities, a private beach and pool. Events Coordinator
Events Department
Reporting to: Director of Events
Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing of execution of events
- Managing of internal and client requests
- Maintaining the provided communication booking system in updated state
- Maximizing revenue and ensure customer satisfaction while requesting, booking and holding events at The Chedi Luštica Bay
- Strict adherence to LQA and Forbes standards
- Maintaining the set timeline for response back to clients
- Setting traces for every enquiry
- Ensure definite bookings are regularly followed-up
- Ensure pre and post event meeting with the organizer to ensure smooth event and feedback
- Develop and maintain close working relationship with operational departments and ensure they are provided with accurate and timely event order
- Attend the scheduled event meetings with operational departments
- Coordinate banqueting functions with F&B outlets in order to maximize usage of space and the smooth completion of the scheduled functions
- Attending the scheduled sales meetings
- Preparing and providing the necessary event reports to ensure proper distribution of information with the rest of the departments
- To be available and present for the scheduled function to ensure smooth event and customer satisfaction
- Performing site inspection with clients and planners
- Assisting in coordination of events
- To be able to do market research for trends and generating new ideas for services and products that will maintain a leading edge over competitive set
- Comply with all hotel procedures and policies
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Traits:
- High School Diploma
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations with focus on Events, Reservations and Front Office positions
- Basic knowledge of PMS Opera
- Full proficiency in English, additional languages are an advantage
- Previous Hotel experience is an advantage
- Superb communications skills
- Ability to offer and sell hotel services
- Appealing appearance
- Strong team spirit
- Driver License - B Category with prior driving experience
