Junior Technician for (EPC) Engineering-Procurement-Construction and (O&M) Operation and Maintenance

Terna Group Group is the owner and operator of the Italian High-Voltage National Transmission Grid (NTG).

Terna has established the company Terna Crna Gora d.o.o. for the construction, operation and maintenance of the high voltage direct current (HVDC) cable interconnection between Montenegro and Italy (MON.ITA.) in Montenegro.

 Job location / Mjesto rada: HVDC Converter Station - Lastva Grbaljska, Kotor

Job description / Opis radnog mjesta:
  • Execution of specific tasks related to operation and maintenance activities on various Converter Station and cable systems, devices, and equipment in coordination with the O&M team, according to instructions of the responsible of the team.
  • Supervision of construction works and related activities on the Converter Station and cable system.
  • Undertaking all activities that ensure compliance with legal regulations and rules of the Company related to safety and protection at work.
Working hours/ Radno vrijeme:
  • Monday to Friday 8 hour per day. Emergency availability service over the working time (weekend included) is required one out of three weeks.
Knowledge and qualifications / Znanje i kvalifikacije:
  • Required: High school diploma in Electrotechnics - III degree level or higher.
  • It is preferable to have passed professional exam: "OPERATION OF TRANSFORMER STATIONS AND DISTRIBUTION POWER PLANTS AND MANAGEMENT OF MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF ELECTRIC POWER FACILITIES"
  • Basic knowledge of English (B1 or higher): Mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of Italian: Preferred
  • Previous experience in electric systems installation, construction or operation and maintenance is not required, but preferred.
