Web Developer
An established tech company that develops awesome software for the fin tech and online gaming space is seeking to employ minded and creative thinking people who want to be at the cutting edge of new technologies. You will be working for and with diverse teams who build and deliver our software making sure services are both robust and effective across test, development, and production environments.
Responsibilities
- Engaging dev teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Server-side architecture
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Write and share technical documentation
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
- Plan upgrades of large, complex systems across a variety of environments
- Manage technical releases including software deploys
- De-risk deploys and change request reviews
- Investigate and diagnose problems, assign or carry out code and deploy fixes
- Make workflow more efficient and the system more performant and stable
- Build and verify new servers, including tracking network changes
- Build tools for automate, simplify and de-risk processes
- Work with bleeding-edge tools and technologies
- Experience as a backend and integrations developer
- Experience in development of scalable web APIs, concepts required for building such applications for web, mobile and desktop software
- Understanding concepts of multi-database environments and load balancing
- SQL and ORM usage skills in a level which allows building of both complex
- Knowledge and experience in different environments used for writing micro services
- Familiarity with common web application development stacks: knowledge of latest front-end standards
- Familiarity with databases, web servers and UI/UX design
- Skills required to develop in cooperation using Git and CI/CD solutions (Bitbucket pipelines, JIRA PM Tool)
- Any Gaming Platform experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail

- Degree in Computer Science or a set of proven courses in web application scaling, database normalisation and statistics
