Web Application Backend Specialist
 
We expect you to have experience in:
  • Implementing backends in different cloud environments using available cloud technologies;
  • Backend implementation using virtualized Linux servers and open source databases;
  • Using microservices/container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, API gateways, and using serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions;
  • API design and implementation: HTTP REST, WebSockets, GraphQL;
  • Data format design and implementation: JSON, XML;
  • Backend security hardening;
  • DevOps practices;
Senior-level Web Backend Developer is responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. The person’s primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This person will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well. -It’s an advantage if the candidate has experience in using Web technologies for developing embedded user interfaces or backend services in embedded Linux devices.
