Reservation Supervisor duties and responsibilities:
Job Description:

  • Supervises Reservations department day to day operations and ensures all reservations are processed in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner according to Chedi and LQA standards
  • Coaching reservations team members, including scheduling, training, and reviewing their performance.
  • Creates and updates Reservations SOPs
  • Ensures a sales attitude is always adopted and maintains an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel and destination
  • Manages reservations to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling and recommendations from Revenue Manager
  • Shows complete product knowledge, understanding of hotel rates and offers
  • Works closely with Revenue and Sales teams and is aware at all times of online and contracted rates, availability status, and stay restrictions.
  • Ensures that all special and VIP requests are handled in an efficient and timely manner
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all challenges and matters of significance.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate


  • Highly responsible, extremely organized, passionate about hotel industry and customer service
  • Sales and goal-oriented personality
  • Must have strong problem-solving abilities and works well under pressure
  • Outstanding orientation to details and accuracy in daily work
  • Flexibility to work extended hours if needed
  • Must be proficient with computer systems and possess knowledge of Opera PMS, Synxis channel manager, and OTA Extranets
  • Excellent knowledge of English language, sophisticated vocabulary, both verbal and written
  • At least 1 year experience in Reservations Department Supervisory capacity within luxury five-star chain hotel


  • University or High School degree
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Full working professional proficiency in English and Montenegrin, additional languages are a big asset
