We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant, to join our pre-opening team at our ultra-luxury 5* Resort, One&Only Portonovi.

The first One&Only Resort in Europe is sure to captivate with a stunning destination overlooking 1.2km of the Adriatic Sea. Positioned at the entrance to Boka Bay, this 60-acre destination overlooks mountain and sea while still emphasizing a sense of privacy. 113 Guest luxurious guest rooms and 10 branded villas will reflect the rich natural elements of Montenegro. World-class restaurants will showcase regional specialties from renowned chefs and distinctive hospitality will ensure every whim is fulfilled. One&Only Spa has partnered with wellness brand, Henri Chenot and will honor the region’s heritage by utilizing ancient Mediterranean traditions fused with modern spa therapies.

This role has responsibility for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all General Ledger recording, preparing reports and analysis and generally assisting the Chief Accountant. 

Responsibility will include reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, analysis, preparing and distributing reports, supporting and overseeing the Finance sections (Income Audit, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Audit, General Cashier and Payroll), using initiative to query and follow through on unusual transactions, undertaking audit techniques to assist with verifying the completeness and accuracy of the accounting system and assisting with the month-end accounts, annual budget and ongoing forecast processes.

We are looking for a candidate with Accountant experience gained within an international organisation
