Marketing and PR Manager
Mission
- Responsible for developing the Portonovi PR, communication and marketing strategy. This includes studying market and economic indicators; tracking changes in tourism supply and demand; identifying customers and their needs (both present and future); managing the Portonovi brand and monitoring the competition.
Responsibilities
- To identify short and long term issues to address, recommending options and courses of action.
- To develop marketing and promotional strategies and plans for each product and manage implementation of the Portonovi brand.
- To maintain customer relations by organizing and developing events and ensuring Portonovi’s presence at conventions, annual events, tourism associations, and seminars.
- To provide short and long term market forecasts and reports by analyzing HNW individuals and tourism travel indicators and trends.
- To determine and evaluate current and future market trends.
- To recycle existing Portonovi concepts by analyzing market development statistics.
- To maintain a market research database.
- Coordinate effective advertising program.
- Ensure articulation of Portonovi’s desired image and position.
- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all resort publication.
- Coordinate the appearance of resort brochures.
- Create, grow and maintain strong engagement and presence on main social media platform.
- Develop attractive and commercially driven social media campaigns.
- To provide marketing information by answering homeowners’ association, marina and customer experience queries.
- To prepare an annual budget and analyze discrepancies; to initiate corrective actions.
- To schedule employees and monitor their results.
- To enhance the skills of marketing employees identifying training opportunities where required.
- To retain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- To contribute to the team effort.
- To attend department meetings as required and actively participate in the Real Estate & Business Development department.
- To liaise with all employees on marketing related issues.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by the Real Estate & Business Development Director.
Education and previous experience
- University degree qualification in Business Administration and/or Marketing
- Management experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in similar functions.
- Previous experience with PR, Social Media and Marketing within the hospitality/marina/real estate industry.
Preferred competencies
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of other languages.
