Real Estate and Business Development Director

Mission

Responsible for directing PRMC real estate and business development activities within the Portonovi Resort Management Company. A key role on the company’s bottom line.

 

Responsibilities

  • To manage all strategic and operational real estate lettings, marketing, future real estate re-sales and homeowners’ association management activities.
  • To give feedback to the General Manager regarding market competition, prospective customers and the development of services and experiences.
  • To oversee marketing strategies that position the Portonovi resort competitively within Montenegro and the Mediterranean.
  • To drive increased revenue and profit for PRMC.
  • To plan and coordinate the implementation of business plans and penetration of new source markets.
  • To develop negotiation strategies for new ventures; to examine risks and opportunities; to anticipate partner needs.
  • To supervise and close new business deals for PRMC; to develop and negotiate contracts; to integrate contract requirements with operations.
  • To liaise with the General Manager and ensure effective communication at all levels. To ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • To attend and participate in meetings as necessary.
  • To provide coaching and counselling. To assess the performance of department managers & employees and train where required.
  • To delegate as necessary so as to achieve objectives on time.
  • To liaise with employees on real estate, homeowners’ association and marketing related issues.

Education and previous experience

  • University degree qualification in Business Administration and/or Marketing.
  • Management experience.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience within the international real estate/hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience dealing with HNW individuals.

Preferred competencies

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy skills, able to review financial reports and real estate valuations.
  • Strongly customer service oriented.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of other languages.
  • Computer literate.
