Recruitment of National Support Staff for the Election Observation Mission to Montenegro

 

Following an official invitation to observe the parliamentary elections scheduled for 16 October 2016, based on the findings and conclusions of the Needs Assessment Mission deployed from 16-20 May 2016, and in accordance with its mandate, the OSCE/ODIHR is preparing to deploy an Election Observation Mission (EOM) for these elections. 

In this respect, the OSCE/ODIHR is currently undertaking recruitment of national support staff for the Election Observation Mission to Montenegro for the below mentioned positions:

Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of Montenegro. For more information about the responsibilities and requirements of the post, please read the terms of reference, under the link to the right.

Start date of employment for programmatic positions: 8 September 2016 (approx.)

Start date of employment for administrative positions:  1 September 2016 (approx.)

Approximate duration of employment 6 - 8 weeks depending on the post

Location: Podgorica, Montenegro (except drivers and interpreters for Long-Term Observers)  

Remuneration is commensurate with the qualifications of the incumbent and requirements of the post, and is similar to those offered under the United Nations Common System for general services employees (in accordance with established OSCE rates). Social security will include participation in the OSCE life and accident disability insurance scheme.

Each candidate is eligible to apply for a maximum of three positions. Application for each position should be sent in separate emails. Please do not attach certificates, they should be submitted upon request. 

Applications for the position of a driver should include vehicle make, type and year of production. No photos are required.

Application deadline: 5 September 12:00 CET for programmatic and regional positions, 30 August, 24:00 CET for administrative positions. Applications received after the deadline or with no indication of the position for which the candidate applies, will not be taken into consideration.

The OSCE retains the discretion to re-advertise the vacancy, to cancel the recruitment, to offer an appointment at a lower grade or to offer an appointment with a modified job description or for a different duration.
