Global Outreach Intern at NOKIA

Outreach is responsible for connecting with customer facing leads both within the organization and across our company including: Corporate Communications, Sales and Marketing and Product Organizations.
Job Description:
The intern will support NokiaEDU communication, outreach and all aspects supporting program development and growth. This intern will focus mainly on internal communications, initiatives and projects: web and flash content development, distribution of targeted mailings, newsletter development, calendar of course offerings development, distribution and maintenance of stakeholders lists, intranet and Yammer community management, and coordination and support for online webinars and events. The intern will also support communication of programs outside the company when appropriate. The intern will also assist, when called upon, with additional Outreach initiatives and projects from a communications and marketing perspective.
TASKS INCLUDE: Global Day of Learning and other important webcast events: Materials to support the webcast (e.g. flash animation, ppt presentations, newsletters…) + Administrative & logistic support coordinating the different online events across the regions with speakers and other organizers; disseminate communication across channels, follow-up.
• General newsletter development and distribution: creation, support, editing, follow up.
• General website creation and maintenance: projects will require webpages and/or short animations – create, edit, support, follow-up.
• Graphic design support: perform image editing, create vectors, infographs, etc.
• Corporate Comms Feature Support - Administrative Support, potential editing support for facilitating features related to focused, short-term corporate communications initiatives that are cascaded across stakeholder groups and Nokia.
• Intranet, SharePoint and Yammer community management: disseminate important communication across intranet and Yammer communities, manage/grow/improve communities.
• Webcasting/Internal Feature Video Administrative help coordinating, arranging and follow-thru for audio and video recording sessions. Potentially serve as voice and video talent (interviewer).
• Support in creating narratives for overall programs, support larger strategic goals of the team.
• Logistical Support:
o Clean up/edit PPT presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents and prepare them for distribution to different targets.
o Web: Intern can serve as a liaison to follow-up if/when necessary on issues that require further investigation as a result of the intranet web updates and refresh.
o Support team members on projects/activities as needed resulting from weekly Outreach team meetings.
