BDM will utilise appropriate marketing and sales methodologies to develop profitable business in security services in an assigned business segment and follow-up regularly with clients to assess satisfaction with services and to identify additional business opportunities..

The following are some of the important duties of a Business Development Manager:
  • Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential clients
  • Contacting potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations. 
  • Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
  • Strong understanding of company services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
  • Enhances organisation's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
