Telenor Montenegro is seeking for candidates interested to cover:

 

Core Network Maintenance Specialist

Location: Podgorica 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain availability of CS Core network and IMS Services;
  • Execute and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks (including acceptance of new software versions and testing of new functionalities);
  • Execute corrective maintenance activities (troubleshooting, handling of emergency cases);
  • Execute all operational tasks (administration, configuration, reporting, monitoring);
  • Participate in installation and integration of new network element;
  • Participate in implementation and testing of new services and features;
  • Take active part in development of process, methods and tools used within department;
  • Co-operate with other parts of the organization on process oriented cross-functional work;
  • Take part in continuous improvement of CS Core network and IMS Services quality;
  • Participate in performance monitoring;
  • Solving customer complains;
  • Support CNOC team; participate in on-call service.

Our ideal candidate needs to have:

  • Degree in telecommunications or computer engineering;
  • Theoretical understanding of main techniques that are used in mobile network;
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal);
  • Teamwork;
  • Ability to work in an international team;
  • Ability to initiate and drive improvement and change;
  • Knowledge in CS area, IMS and mobile communication protocols is beneficial;
  • Knowledge in Linux/Unix operation is beneficial;
  • Relevant experience in mobile communications is beneficial.
